Arab Hall – Leighton House

Leighton House was the home and studio of leading Victorian artist Frederic, Lord Leighton. Finished in 1877, the Arab Hall extantion is decorated with Leighton’s collection of 1,000 tiles from Syria, Turkey, and Persia, and is based on a surviving twelfth century Moorish/Norman palace called La Zisa in Palermo, Sicily.
