Mobeen Butt met with Rachel Feldberg the Festival Director of the Ilkley Literature Festival. They discussed numerous ways that the Festival could engage the wider Asian/Muslim communities, but particularly, in Bradford.

Mobeen suggested several Muslim artists and cultural producers. Subsequently, the following Festival included an Arabic calligraphy workshop and a talk by Razwan Ul Haq, and talks on Muslim history in Britain, Muslim literature and Muslim writers (in association with Kube Publishing).
