The Muslim Museum Initiative met with the Community Archivist and Community Engagement Officer of Auckland Castle. Mobeen Butt spent the afternoon with Georgina Ascroft and Alison Tweddle providing advice and expertise as to how the Castle could include Islam in their proposed ‘5000 years of Faith in the British Isles’ exhibition.

There was consensus that MMI would make a great partner in the project and Mobeen a valuable member of the advisory group.
